This is Motive, not Bioware. Bioware struggled with Frostbite, Motive knows how to use it. see Star Wars: Squadrons

I also have an Elgato Wave with the virtual audio mixer, changing output to game audio didn't resolve it.

I think I fixed it for me, I don't know which one fixed it, but either disabling usb selective suspend setting in edit power plan or going to advanced system settings and go to advanced performance settings and enable best performance of background services

yeah im getting this, weird ticks and crackling, sometimes get a large blast of it but most of the time its tiny ticks every few seconds. not unplayable, but a little annoying. it sounds like a campfire. i usually use on board audio, tested it running through a usb connected scarlett 2i2 box and it still occurs. assuming this will be a fix in the first patch.

i found something weird about it though, as i usually run at 144hz due to my monitor, once turning down the Hz setting in game, the crackling gets absolutely insane, like its demented. keeping on the correct 144hz only generates these tiny crackles i mentioned before. weird.

ryzen 5 5600G
3060ti
32gig ram
installed on nvme

tested on both beyerdynamic 990 pros and sennheiser pc37x's, through both on board audio and scarlett 2i2

I had audio crackling problem when I had OBS opened in background, not even doing anything. Didn't find solution.
Without OBS works fine.
