I like being a pirate maybe Alestorm ain`t for everyone
The video streaming services is a perfect example. People stopped pirating when Netflix came out because it had a huge selection all in one place for a cheap price. Now there are over 20 different streaming services with exclusives and movies bouncing between them constantly making it both too expensive and a massive pain in the ass to find the movie you're looking for which has caused piracy to make a resurgence as it is now more convenient to pirate a movie for free than pay $100 a month over a dozen different services.
It hasn't seemed to cause me any performance issues in the past, but definitely wish there was some definitive information on how it worked.
One thing... if you buy a game you will never own it, not for real, unless it's physical (which is almost never now days). HOWEVER, if you pirate it.... it is yours forever, but DON'T you worry, words always come back to bite you in the ass eventually. May you never need to choose between eating, clothes or shoes and a video game made by scum of the earth corporations that thirst for everyone's greens without discrimination. But just try and guess what anyone with common sense goes for in that situation...
it will work for a while offline but soon or late it will ask you to go online again, because it periodically checks in the background.
I don´t have DS remake but others denuvo games behave like this.
