god no, only reason to own a HDD now is if you want/need storage space for files, not games
Long story short is that yeah, you can, but you're likely going to regret bothering to play it in that state. Grab an SSD. You can get 1TB for under a hundred bucks at this point and your games will thank you.
It can be installed on HDD. But SSD is recommended. I suggest save some money and buy a cheap 250 - 500 GB SSD only for games and the OS.
it will have longer loading times compared to an SSD thats for sure, but it will work.
I might move it over to my HDD to test just how well it does actually play, you know, for science.
and I cant install a SSD because I have no more M.2 or SATA slots available anyways
