Replay value?

So this is a 60 dollar game, and when i beat the original years ago it only took like 10 hours. Will their be replay value in this new version?

Did they mention any changes with ng+ other than upping the difficulty and keeping your upgrades? 60 bucks is allot of money for a remade game that was already relativity short.

Don't expecting too much on replayability with single player horror game. The most 2~3 times. Hopefully, the hand gloves gun is still in there though.

Honestly, there isn't a lot of immediate replay value with the original so I wouldn't expect that here. What the game is good for is actually being the mood for a great horror game, a little later, and then replaying it when it's no longer fresh. I mean, I always go through a second partial replay immediately for the tank armor and to stomp on some necromorphs. But it fizzles quick when the game is fresh.

If I remember correctly it took me around 13 hours to complete the game on the ps3. Since they said they open up the map a bit more and maybe hid some extra stuff I would guess around 20 hours to beat it if you take your time.

Replaying games is not my cup of tea anyways, but I dont think theres not much of a point doing it in a game like this, except to enjoy the scenery again?

60 bones isn´t cheap, but buying a game on release is stupid anyways. The price always gets slashed in half super fast.
Im also pretty sure this will be in the halloween sale this year, the perfect time to play a game like this. Also you get the best version of the game, with most of the bugs patched out.
