GTX 1070 for a minimum?
I think you should increase the minimum GPU.
Who the hell plays game with GTX 1070 in 2023?
I recommend you to put RTX 2080 for the minimum so we all PC Master Race can get ahead of console peasant. 🤩

Its lazy dev team so don't expect a good optimalization.

You people that are still on these old ass gpus that cry poor optimization are so pathetic. It's 2023....if you seriously think a card that wasn't even the best when it came out almost 7 YEARS ago is demanding....you are the problem not the devs. This game looks completely different than the original and is on a totally different engine. A lot of you need to just stick to consoles.

lol true. I even had a 5700XT but got rid of it 2 years ago, it was weak. A 1070 is not as good, i would imagine youd have trouble playing gtv past 60fps.

Not saying it cant be done just that 1070 for dead space remake would be lacking where youd have to lower the quality so much you may as well play the original?

-> lazy dev team
-> lowest requirement is a six year old mid-tier GPU

I got RX 6600 so i don't think the game as a problem, i mean devs now are bit wrong on the optimization level, *cough Forspoken.
I mean Visual = requirement.
A beautiful looking game, demands strong a GPU is normal, but a nad looking one demands a strong GPU?
Hmmmmm

haha yeah that game is just crazy on the requirements, so high that you know something is wrong

I guess we'll either know by today (embargo ends today, tho idk what time) or tomorrow.

Speculating one way or another is what it is: Speculation.

I'm hopeful tho, the leaks showed the game running really well on PS5 and Xbox. But that's just consoles. But then again, TCP ran somewhat okay PS5 but crap on PC, so there's that for ya.

*Cough, look at Resident Evil 4 Remake requirements.
Resident Evil 4 is a cross-gen game. Dead Space isn't.
At this point as long as this developer isn't as bad as GroveStreetGames then I don't care. The definitive edition, be it GTA 3, Vice City or San Andreas still crashes for me within 30 minutes with a fatal error.

The listed Requirements are meaningless unless the target Resolution, Frame rates, and graphics settings are specified.

This is how all PC requirements should be done

Seriously, guys.. It's a 7 years old hardware. How come a 1070 is a bit high? How the hell long you want your potato to last?

RE4 still a PS4 game. It's desgined to run on a console released in 2013.
Dead Space is next gen only.

Or the game are unoptimized?
Because so far visual are not that different to the original except for lots of volumetric lighting.

The 1070 is an eight year old card now. Even the 2070 (recommend) is getting a long in the tooth at four and a half years old.

lmao 1070 'abit too high'
also this statement
"Because so far visual are not that different to the original except for lots of volumetric lighting."
You seriously need your eyes checked if you can't see theres a massive difference between the original and the remake.

Indeed, that's why i'm asking above.
Do next gen only bad?
I mean we should judge things based on the visual quality right?
A game that is looks ultra realistic which demands a GTX 1060 as a recommended settings are always better than a game that looks ugly that demands an RTX 3070 for 30fps gaming *cough in Forspoken.
There comes a thing called "optimization".
Nobody wants the industry to be held back in technology because some people is stuck with a 8 years old hardware.
It's time to upgrade.

It's quite the opposite. A lot of people see RE4 being released on PS4 as a bad thing. It means the game is compromised in some way. Most people want to get out of this crossgen phase and hope developers will stop making compromises in order to have the game running on old hardware.

Not really. Forspoken itself is clearly unoptimized and its pretty evident by its empty worlds etc.

TCP is a prime example of next gen graphics. Not recommending that game, just using it as a graphical benchmark only.
