It's a remake of Dead Space what did you expected? AC valhalla? Far Cry 6? or some other garbage free roam game that wastes your time with the same repetitive 5 or so missions for 50 to 60 hours?
With how much the level designs have changed to allow free roam, and with that certainly having potential for a Ubisoft-esque putting aside the main story to grind out something or explore at your leisure, the actual gameplay time of the Remake will vary.
There ARE ex-Ubisoft devs involved, with some Mass Effect: Andromeda writers doing the re-writing, but hey, people liked those games so YMMV,
If that is the case wouldn't it be a bigger / longer game ?
Yeah, it's quite the narrative experience in hitting wacky pre-rendered story cut scenes where the MC stands stunned like a newbie after hours of stomping through the open world like Rambo.
It's what my family loves to rip most about Ubisoft games.
