Report a translation problem
The moment I saved, the game froze my PC to an extend where even holding the mechanical power button for >4 seconds did not do anything.
Which is probably what corrupted files. There is an interesting thread here:

But this did not work for me. Even after deleting the saveslots file, I can only enter the game and start a new game. The "load game" menu item is greyed out.
This is sad because the save files are clearly there. Even if one got corrupted, I have another one because I did alternating saves... For exactly that reason.
Is there anything that we can do?
Are the devs aware? This needs more attention. I cannot believe that only a few people are experiencing this...
I tried the same thing and it still plays the new save file, sucks.
Hope it gets addressed in a future patch or something
