BUT.. I do get what you're saying... some times the lesser suits do look OK, but hands down, the Tier 6 suit is fantastic looking. Even better than the N7 suit, and the N7 looked pretty sharp too.

Having DS08 as an option is cool but it's by no means a solution to the above, as it's a deliberately lower-quality model in homage to the original Tier 3 RIG.
It all comes down to personal prefference, IMO the lvl 6 RIG is too far off from the iconic dead space look, which the Engineer suit's design nails. In the remake, the artists seem to have spent an absurd amount of time and effort redefining each upgrade's visuals (same goes for the rest of the game) and it only seems fitting to get maximum "usage" out of them as indefinitely re-equippable cosmetics to account for all the playerbase's tastes.
