Kill 30 Achievements not unlocking?

Trying to obtain several achievements for getting 30 kills on some of the weapons. I can't seem to unlock them, being the ripper, contact beam and force gun. I am on New Game+ I'm thinking it only keeps track on a fresh start... any ideas?

I did them on new game pluses. My last 3 achievements were for 30 kills.
Are you absolutely sure it's been 30? The little dumplings from the pregnant count individually, which is a plus

I dont know what's happening, i tried to get the Backbreaker achivment on newgame+ and was unable to get, so I started a new game and put myself on story difficulty. I curve stomped 14 necromorphs and no luck, I didnt even use any guns to weaken them. So my guess, its probably a glitch.

You are doing the exact opposite of what is needed.

First you need to weaken them with weapons then stomp only ONCE and kill them.

Try doing it on the small ones if you have a hard time doing it.

The achievement is a little misleading. I had the same problem as you, and thought it was a glitch. Turns out you have to stomp and kill the Pods the Guardian Necromorph spits out; or at least that's how I ended up getting it. The Guardian Necromorph is the one attached to the wall that you can only kill by shooting the tentacles that comes out its chest. Just stomp kill the little Pods it shoots out, the ones with the singular tentacles that shoot you. That'll net you the achievement, good luck!
