Why not? It seems like nothing but positives.
Good luck with that.

Thanks. It's definitely a bait post for the rather progressive devs to stop shoehorning this debate, worded in such a way, they would want to listen.
But according to the wiki:
"The Earth Government is similar to a totalitarian state, with complete control of all the colonies, restriction of freedom of speech and religion (as seen in the government's efforts to neutralize Unitology) as well as lack of democratically elected leaders"
which makes it hilarious since it apparently the totalitarian fascist state of the dead space universe that ordered gender neutral bathrooms and is obsessed with diverse propaganda posters, since one would assume a state the seeks to restrict freedom of speech would be highly involved in what propaganda posters are on the walls of something as high profile as a planet cracker.
Never seen a actual company do a self insert before. usually it´s novelists and crappy comic book writers.
The part I agree so much with is changing Nicole's appearance between dead space 1 and 2, whether or not people thought Nicole looked too young in the first game, the fact is she looked how she looked, and going from 1 to 2 was jarring, and whenever she appeared, in the numerous times she did, you'd have a part of your mind thinking "she really looks nothing like she did in the first game"
Humans don't like change, this doesn't bother most people who will post here, because they have never played the original, but having played it 15 years ago, and several times since then, the changes to characters, especially Kyne just ruin your immersion because of how wildly worse they are portrayed, Johnston, the posters, the bathrooms, these are all things I can ignore because they're so minor, background noise really,
Johnston wasn't a memorable character in the original game, and isn't a memorable character in this game so I give her a pass, but Hammond just isn't Hammond anymore, Kendra is inoffensive if not bland this time around and Kyne is so many leagues worse a character that it's actually baffling that they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up so badly

I have no hope for dead space 2 if they can butcher a character so thoroughly, they will absolutely ruin Ellie and Stross
