Plasma cutter rotates faster with upgrades?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the plasma cutter seems to rotate faster the more upgrades you pump into it? I swear at the start of the game it would take a full second to fully rotate and now halfway through the upgrade tree it's much snappier.

Yes, I also noticed this. I thought I was just imagining it.

I could easily see it rotating faster since the easiest way to improve fire rate is speeding up animations, but it doesn't really matter since the cutter rotates more than fast enough at base

I saw a video making a big deal out of its rotation speed, of course, guy had to compare it to the original game.

the point is the guy clearly refuses to adapt to changes to improve on his skill and gameplay. instead goes off to the internet whining

Personally I think that's the downfall of some people. I don't think there's anything wrong with criticizing something but if you do it in a condescending tone or you come across as whiny and entitled, people will take it less seriously
