Resizable BAR had a TREMENDOUS impact on my fps/stuttering

If your computer supports it turn it on...... it changed the entire game for me. Went from a stuttering mess to a fantastic smooth play. If you have 30/40 series Nvidia TURN ON RESIZEABLE BAR.

I should note not every single stutter is gone but it makes the game 1000% better. Stutters now only happen around obvious loading zones and things that make more sense for the game to have a small stutter. My game is no longer just stuttering endlessly in every single room, No matter what.

this didn't seem to make a huge difference for me. I'm running a 13900K/4090 setup. my average fps does seem to have gone up a bit but where I was really hoping this would make a difference is in cpu usage and hopefully lower temps (currently averaging 70-80C). not really seeing a change there.

You can (unless you have an old motherboard) but your mileage may vary as it's not officially supported by Nvidia.

Can confirm it runs 25% better on my 3080 and has removed most of stuttering on my 4090 but you have to manually enable it with the nvidia inspector tool specifically for Dead Space.

I always consider Resizable Bar before I start any new games. The Witcher 3 and Dying Light 2 benefit greatly from it, especially Far Cry 6. Not all games benefit though. But I recommend testing it in all DX12 games to see if there is any performance benefit.

Nvidia used to enable it in the driver for some games, but it's like they dropped support for it and now you have to enable it yourself using Nvidia Inspector.

you should. i was able to enable SAM on a ryzen 3600 on an x370 motherboard.

No.... you don't. I did NOT use Nvidia Inspector and I never will again.

Just delete everything in cache folder and let this game re build shaders and this should help more
