Dead Space: Extraction was developed by EA Redwood Shores, Eurocom, which is an EA owned company. It was published by EA. Ingnition was developed by Visceral Games.
Extraction would be an excellent addition, since it's a prequel to Dead Space.
Ignition would be equally excellent as it's set between Dead Space and Dead Space 2. More of a prequel to Dead Space 2, according to Wikipedia.
I doubt either would have Isaac Clarke though. Am not an expert on either of these games. Just want to see the whole franchise.
I never played either of these two games so would be pumped for them. Only if they were made in the same way as the three main Dead Space games though. In third person and free roam.
Extraction was originally an on-rail shooter, and Ignition was an interactive animation movie I think. Meaning I would not be into either as a remake if they were made in the same format, as their originals.
Would be a blast to see them remade as third-person shooters, in the high production standards as Dead Space (2023).
To have a fresh modern take on dead space was a long time dream, as refreshing as the original was, it has its issues with gameplay, stiffness and incomplete narrative at some point. They improved alot in dead space 2 which I find the definite dead space experience. But now they combine that with the original story, it will be "dead space: definite edition". .... I hope, my biggest worry is about how the gameplay will feel.
I'm with you on this remake. I'm not sure what you mean by incomplete narrative.
Original Dead Space was a fractionally stiff - not much, but noticeable. Finger's crossed the remake turns out fine. I don't foresee any game-play problems like that
My concern with the remake, is how expensive the ray-tracing will be and if I can max it out.
Agreed Dead Space 2 was mind-blowing. It was my first Dead Space game. Shockingly good.
