Can;t load any saved game

When I load a saved game it goes to console and says 'saved game from different level' and nothing else happens.

Can't find any other instance of this when I searched the forumor internet in general.

Hope it can be fixed. Fun game

I had this error as well.
Could not fix it so i started again.

Still happening after a restart. Also there does not appear to be any developer support. the email [e-mail] responded with an automated message saying

"We're writing to let you know that the group you tried to contact (support) may not exist, or you may not have permission to post messages to the group"

Guess I can no longer play the game :(

Was there an update beforehand? Because GZDoom causes save files become incompatible with other versions when the program is updated. I don't know why, but if that is the case you'll have to start the game from scratch.

same here, cant load any saved game; all saying "save is from different level"

On GZDoom games each time an update is made, it breaks your previous saves.(I had this on Project Absentia) However you can 'warp' to your last played level.
Get the name of your last played map eg. E1M4
Just start a brand new game. Press the console key (to the left of the 1 key on KB) and type
map e1m4
and hit return and you'll be at that map. Hit the console key again to return to game and frag away! You can then save your new game as per normal.
There will doubtless be more updates over time but this level warp will come in handy.

That's true, but obviously we won't leave it that way. We're working on a solution to work this around asap.

I can't because I used the command "map e1m2" and overwrite all my save.

Next time it happens, I will send it to you.
