I've been playing this game since my childhood. No matter where we are or whether we're on the same or different networks, we face very serious issues. There are urgent problems related to multiplayer that need to be addressed. These problems can result in losing up to 2 hours of our time due to game errors. These errors occur regardless of who sets up the game. The issues are as follows:
Construction failure within the game: If the game exceeds one hour, any attempt to start a new construction never progresses.
Freezing and lagging: After the game passes the one-hour mark, it starts to freeze and lag for everyone in the session.
Game crashes: If the game exceeds one hour, it crashes for everyone except the person who set up the game, displaying an error screen.
As you know, we enter online mode with a group of players. After spending hours of effort, issues like freezing, lagging, the game crashing, or construction not progressing waste all our time and seriously discourage us from playing.
We even purchased a new copy of the game to test this, but the same issues persist. Of course, our priority remains Ancient Wars Sparta, and we hope these problems can be resolved soon. If you inform us that these issues have been fixed, we will happily return to playing the game.
Since the game was released on Steam, these problems have remained unresolved, and we are extremely tired of losing hours due to these errors.

I'm sorry you are experiencing these early access problems, first of all these problems will be fixed in their entirety, if you see the notes of each patch, you will have seen that fixes are made to fix the multiplayer and desyncs (crashes or build bugs are related to desync), more than 300 desync triggers have been fixed in the last year and there are very few left.
So I hope that in the next few months, the multiplayer will be fully functional, plus a new lobby with global chat, spectator mode, matchmaking and ranked will be added. I hope this can make you enjoy the game fully.
In any case, we will keep you informed in the notes of each update and an announcement will be made when the new multiplayer will be available. In the meantime you can continue to play multiplayer with those civilizations that are already functional in multiplayer (Spartans, Macedonians, Egyptians and Indians) and the land maps (naval maps are still being fixed).

We paid about 60e for that purchase. I want you to return our money because the 1vs1 game doesn't work and they always show that there is a problem after 20-30 minutes of playing.

The multiplayer is being redone and all desync triggers fixed, in the new big update at the end of January there will be a significant improvement.
The game has many mechanics, combinations and abilities, it is necessary to find each combination that caused a Desync trigger in test and fix it later, more than 300 desync triggers have been fixed since the launch, they can be consulted in the changelogs of each update. Fortunately, the amount of Desync remaining is already reduced and I hope in the coming months to reduce it to 0 or close to it, apart from multiplayer improvements that are being developed.
On the other hand, you can currently play without Desync if you use any of these Civilizations: Egyptians, Spartans, Persians, Indians, Macedonians and use normal skirmish maps (Not Conquest/Domination and Naval mode).
In the next update all Desyncs in Republican Rome and Conquest/Domination maps will be fixed.

my friend and me usually experience a bug by which buildings can't be built and enemy troops can't be killed. It looks like and sync problem, on multiplayer online battles.
We think it could be related to spies not working well. One of their mechanics, stealing enemy's technology, doesn't work very well neither.
