Found a Fix for EGO-Dumper crashes (Nvidia DLSS)

I always had in the first 7 laps a crash when i put DLSS on, but with TAA it didnt happen.

You have driver updates, but NVIDIA also releases DLSS updates. These dont come within the driver itself, because its a single DLL file that you have to put into the game folder of the DLSS supported game.

Anways, this fixed the non stop crashes for me. I just raced 29 laps without a single crash. I can finally play the game normally.

How does it work?

1. Download the latest Nvidia DLSS version: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/#changes-2-4-12

2. Backup the current nvngx_dlss.dll in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 22

3. Put the .DLL file into your F1 game folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\F1 22 (OVERWRITE the current .DLL, Windows will ask for it)

4. Start the game > no more crashes.

This file is basically for every game that supports DLSS. Hope it helps!

Are you using Nvidia Game ready drivers or Studio drivers?

thanks for your tip, but unfortunately it does not help.

In my case the .dll file was already there, but I overwrote anyway. As soon as I activate even DLSS the game crashes immediately.

Only with TAA the game runs, but even here I have sporadic EGO Dumper crashes. It's really crazy, I haven't experienced anything like this before.

It's a shame for EA that they don't fix the problem.

Nope, doesn't work for me. I think this would only apply for DLSS capable graphics cards, so RTX 2060s and above. Mine isn't an RTX card so probably that.

Bro, I owe you a beer! I thought something is wrong with my graphics card because I did everything I can and it was always crashing for me with DLSS enabled (I have MSI RTX2070 Super). So... I did your trick and I can drive without any crashes! And it worked for F1 23 :)
