How to change engine in my team?

Completed the first season, but they didn’t let me change primary sponsor or power unit.

Do I only get to change those once every two seasons?

UPDATE: I think I goofed up by not spotting the team details part where you change main sponsor and engine type… now I’ve got to do another whole season unless I find a mod that allows you to make the change earlier.

Did I lose anything significant by forgetting to switch from the Mercedes engine? (Which in this save file has 89 power and 100 reliability)

Engines differ a littlebit in their values, but at that point it's not that much anymore, that you should feel bad about it, especially since the engine builder will upgrade the engine throughout the season anyway, so it gets even less important of a difference over time.

Overall i personally rather go with the better sound anyway.

Yeah. Sound wise I’m at a cross as to whether I’d rather be listening to the Mercedes or the Honda engine.
