Modding: Custom engine for career

I’m looking to make a mod where I create an engine on Automation, take its sound, and put it in the game, essentially being my own engine provider.

I know I’ll need to record the engine audio, design the logo of the company, and place it in the directory.

Would anyone know how to do this? I know it’s possible because others made mods for Audi and ford engines.
