I can't really help out, except to give you the hint of a complete Windows reinstallation. This often helps with software problems, but is also a lot of work and not much fun. Besides, this measure is definitely exaggerated. But now we know some of your specs and maybe someone knows something.
btw i have the same beast of a CPU
In the end the BIOS update (or in my case it was a downgrade) helped.
But be aware of the dangers of a BIOS update :-)
