Grand Prix 4 Best Ever!
For all of you who are looking for a great F1 "Sim" Buy the old Microprose Grand Prix 4. The Mods keeps this Game alive. I started my Seasons in the Year 1990 and progressing through the Years. Lightyears ahead of Gameplay vs this good one looking only Product here.

Hmm i'm not disagreeing really, but i would say Crammond's original Grand Prix was the best ever, because it gave rise to a new genre of video games......the simulator, least it did in my opinion

In what ways is it better? I remember watching great engine blow ups in that game but that's about it. Cant remember being greatly impressed because the AI just was far too fast for me. Any screen shots? I think between AMS2 and F1 22, modern F1 racing is pretty much covered by recent games in much higher fidelity than the old Grand Prix games could ever achieve.

i make it short: only in graphics its lacking behind it. GP 4 is great. AI can crash, have Technical Problems, it has Mods and the Gameplay is also great. If you have some friends over you even can race via Hotseat which is amazing!

GP2 was practically flawless in it's game play and GP2edit made modifying every aspect a dream come true, but by today's standards the graphics are awful. Is GP4 really the only alternative to enjoy a flawless career in F1?

GP4 didnt have a career just races. These games are the only ones with any sort of decent career in them other than PCars 1 and 2.
