When will codemaster fixed the tyre problem in 100% race
In some race like Albert Park, Hungaroring and Marina Bay, hard tyres are just unusable and I need to do a 4 stopper? If you use a set of Hard tyres and do a one stop or two stop, it is impossible to catch up with the AI with a 4 stop (I don't think I am too slow, at least my TT record is around top 5-7% and I know how to make a correct set up). It is unrealistic and destroy my gameplay experience.

Or at least Codemaster should unlocked the tyres allocation in the practice session. That means we can have the free choice of tyres allocation on saving a set of medium or hard like how the real F1 does.

*I also strongly recommend keeping back ups of the savefile before using that mod tho
I've had few instances with previous versions where it locks up the game between P and Q sessions rendering the GP save corrupt and unloadable... :awkward:

But as avid 100% player I do agree, codies really need to fix the free tyre choice for weekend sessions ... the current 4S/1M/H is a joke
And having to rely on scuffed mods, isn't the greatest option either...

Thx dude, I will try this mod later. Actually last year game also has the similar problem. Lazymaster just never fixes it.

i ask myself, what in heaven was tested by the guys who were given the game 2-3 weeks before release..... (i dont talk about the 3 days early access)

I bet they hadn't test 100% race as they thought nobody would waste so much time on this game? It was actually a old problem, not just the tyre allocation, also the tyre wear and hard tyre traction were unrealistic in 100% race just like last year game.

stange you say this in the last race i did, my team career first season, Japan Suzuka, the soft tires though quick for all of 3-4 laps failed to give any advantage, imho was this because of the ambient temperature?, i don't know but i thought i was a a decent strategy and ended up going backwards, i get the impression the medium tires are by far the best choice overall, overpowered? almost you could say..

here's how it went, 100% race decent start on meds and managed to reach p2 or p3 before needing to pit on lap 25 ish, and went softs softs and ended up 12th and out of the points, my team is the weakest on the grid though

Following on from what you are saying, i bet they didn't test any ai relative pace, judging by the ridiculous differences in test program target times, qualification and race pace, between various tracks..

I'd love to know how the pattern of results is for other players relative to mine, but for instance on same difficulty settings in the same season and mode with my team, i qualify 3rd or 4th at silverstone, on 85% difficulty, which in all logic is probably a bit on the easy side, considering on paper i have the worst car, whilst at Singapore i am 22nd and 2.5 seconds behind the next car, i get people are competent at different tracks, and that some will do better at some tracks compared to others, but i can't help feeling these proxy AI lap times, or set targets are not in accordance with the potential of your car across all the tracks, i know this is not easy, but honestly it's way off and shows they have not tested these proxy lap times at all..
