Crashing on start screen after pressing any key

1.09 may have broken my game? Keeps crashing to desktop every time. No idea what's happened.
I run a few mods, but I always at least verify file integrity usually after updates.

EDIT: Fully update your Windows, it's fixed it. I missed a few updates so that's why it didn't work initially for me. The problem still stands for Linux and Steam Deck users though.

the game is so dead at this point.
I've played almost 30 hours whitouth problems, but now every time i want to enter the game,. on startup a big crash appears. I have all drivers updated , i've deleted the hardware file..what is wrong here? every f1 game has this problem..an update that fks it all..

uninstalled f1 22, deleted f1 22 folder from my documents/games, deleted program files (x86)/steam/appsteam/commom/f1 22 folder, restarted windows and reinstalled f1 22. it worked again.

i ve reinstalled the game and nothing..the game still crash on startup//i ve deleted all the data from my computer..steam folder..data saves from my games folder from %appdata%..reduced the settings to minimum whit nvidia aplication, run as administrator, disabe full screen optimisation, unceck enable the steam overlay while in game...verify integrity of tiles, NO MODS.. drivers and windows are up to date...WHAT IS WRONG HERE GUYS?!? the game is DEAD..

the fact this game requires updated windows is just bad, same was with bf2042 but after a while was fixed. Many ppl dont update windows for solid reasons, no other game requires lastest version of win10

updating windows is bad sometimes, i ve encouter many problems whit windows updates like..black screen , almost forcing me to reinstall windows and lose all my data..

EA we buy your product for fun ..why you foce us to do other updates on windows? the game worked fine until this update came out..sorry for my english..

For what its worth, these are my graphic settings that finally allowed me to play. One them is the answer is all im gonna say.

Gamma 180, motion blur 0, steering animation on, peak nit on, HDR off, All ray tracing off, Lighting quality Ultra, post process high, shadows ultra, particles high, Crowd, mirrors, car and helmet reflections, weather effects, ground cover, all ultra, Skidmarks high, skidmarks blending on, Ambient occlusion HBAO+, screen space reflections Ultra, Asynchronous compute on, texture streaming Ultra.

Video Mode 2080 ti, 5120 x 1440, full screen, aspect ratio auto, vsync off, vsync interval auto, refresh rate auto (capable of 244hz), frame rate limit off, anisotropic 16x, anti-aliasing nvidia dlss, dlss mode quality, dlss sharpness 50.

Its not perfect, the lock up's still happen, but rarely.

after many attepts i finnaly make the game work

delete the" my games"- hardware folder and update the windows whit all updates availbe..after 4 hours of uptdating window the game works..strage felling because just yesterday i've updated windows..

I can't update windows for some reason, I keep on getting a error code that I can't fix at the moment. Is there any other way that I can fix this problem?
