Crashing on start screen after pressing any key

1.09 may have broken my game? Keeps crashing to desktop every time. No idea what's happened.
I run a few mods, but I always at least verify file integrity usually after updates.

EDIT: Fully update your Windows, it's fixed it. I missed a few updates so that's why it didn't work initially for me. The problem still stands for Linux and Steam Deck users though.

Make sure your graphic drivers are up to date.
Delete your hardware config file for F1 22 - this is typically located here: Documents\My Games\F1 22\hardwaresettings\hardware_settings_config.xml

nothing works, new install, DSLL, remove hardware settings...
unitl 1.09 i had zero crash. now I can't launch the game.

Mine keeps crashing too, no mods or anything + filed are verified. Didn't have any issues until the update.

Never had the Ego dumper crash before today after the update. Damm im tired of this game right now. Fixx it dont break it developers :-(

I just tried it, and its working fine. i9-9900k at stock turbo of 4.7ghz, 16 gb ram, 2080ti. I have been through crash hell with this game. Stopped crashing a week or so ago. Turning off Steam overlay for this game i think helped a lot.
