"Voice Control Unavailable"

Does anyone know how to use Voice Control? I have tried everything. Set up Speech Recognition, downloaded Kinect Voice, downloaded correct language packs, made sure my output was set to the mic I am using, used wireless and wired headsets etc. Absolutely nothing is working. I find it crazy that you have to run through this many hoops just for a basic in-game function to work, and yet it still doesn't. Can anyone please try and help me out and maybe see what I'm doing wrong? It was the same way in F1 2021. Any insight or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I'm having the same exact issue. I tried to follow the instructions to train voice recognition and install language packs to no avail. I confirmed mic is working and speech recognition is operating as desired in other apps.

it worked great for me up until 2 updates ago and now it dosent work. i have reinstalled the game formatted and re installed windows

I just thought id add what I found for anyone else with this issue on PC.

Go to the local files for the game. Go into the folder installers, scroll down to MSKinectLangPack_enGB and double click. It will install the the language pack for the game and you should be good. At least that worked for me.

I'm gonna try this but what if I already see all kinect languages installed on my pc? They're all there. I even verified files. I'll give this a shot.

That worked for me. I searched File Explorer for MSKinectLangPack_enGB, found the C:Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/f1 2021/installers folder and with the location confirmed I clicked on the file MSKinectLangPack_enGB.

Restarting (after downloading Kinect Voice from Microsoft before trying this fix, but that download and install did not work on it's own) after manually loading MSKinectLangPack_enGB, and the game did not give me the warning "Voice Control Unavailable"

Reinstalling F1 22 (via verify game) helped me to recover voice mode as much in 22 and F1 19.
