Low FPS/LAG

i have the issue that the game runs on really low FPS (35) also is starts to lag really badly.
Specs I9900K, 3090, 32GB of ram.
Wondering if someone else has this issue also

I had the same issue when I first ran the game. Stuck between 30 and 45fps. Even the menus were like 30fps. Exited out and downloaded the latest nVidia drivers and installed them. Logged back into the game and it was a solid 60fps again.

The latest drivers are optimized for the game so make sure you get them if you haven't already.

Hi Afterburner shows that I use 50% GPU and game runs at 30-40 FPS and lagging a lot with latest graphics update. Im on i9 9900k and 2080ti

Instability and performance issues were mentioned in the Autosport.com PC review. I decided to buy the PS5 version instead.

RTX 3090 here and it is unplayable. On ultra preset with dlss on performance i almost get 60fps in 4k. When on dlss quality around 45fps.

When i turn dlss of i get 25fps. Last years game max settings dlss off 60fps plus no problems what so ever. This game is unplayable at the moment and a massive disappointment.

AND YES I HAVE THE NEW DRIVER 516.59

I guess this is What we get for early acess. Just have to wait for them to fix the game. It clearly not using the preformance of our PC's correctly

Yeah it’s frustrating. The game doesn’t come out on time. Plus it’s very badly optimised. I can’t seem to turn off Raytracing completely. Last years game had an option to just to turn it off. I think that’s what may be causing some of the bad FPS problems.

I was playing VR on high preset and it dropped from 89 to about 85... I am gonna try medium later.

I’m on 1660 ti everything runs smoothly 80-120fps constant. Peaks at 144fps if no other cars around me

Tried this also, but din't fix anything for me.. Sad that they released the game like this

Make sure the game is set to maximum performance in the nVidia control panel.

I suggest turning off ray tracing. I play on a laptop and everything’s smooth. Just like f12021

i had some stuttering issues and did some experimenting, for me it was an issue with the texture streaming setting. anything above ultra low seems to cause performance issues.

can now run the high preset at 60fps on a gtx970 as long as texture streaming is set to the lowest.

It worked so far. but when I plug in my Fanatech wheel the fps goes down to 40 again. also my GPU is wokring at 98% in the menues.
