Rear brake locking technique
Hi all,
I want to adapt a certain technique to my driving style but I'm not sure how. I want to intentionally lock the rear brakes in low speed corners to get more rotation.

Check out that vid and especially the hairpin, how he locks the rear brakes.
I know this isn't that big a thing on f1 22 as it was on f1 2021, but I've still locked my rears occasionally.
So I wonder, how do I do this intentionally, could anybody tell me?

Maybe this is a pre-patch video: since the introduction in F1 2020 of the 50% brake bias bug and patch in F1 2021 I think it's almost impossible to lock up rear tyres (in game 50% setting is in fact equivalent to a real life 56%)...anyway to help rotation under braking you can set the differential (off throttle) at minimum (50%)

I didn't know this. So in the game now as it stands there's no way to get a true 50% rear brake bias?

In Bahrain for example I struggle with turn 9 and 10 and I was moving the rear brake bias to 50% for it. I swear I could feel the difference, then I'd move it back for turn 11 etc.

Yes, there's no way, also that's why every setup suggestion that you find on the internet for F1 2020, 2021 and 2022 (on every circuit) have always brake bias at 50%
