It just didn't feel right. Me and another buddy tried it and had similar issues. I've played plenty of movement games and I wouldn't say I'm a pro in any sort of the word but I would say I'm good at most games generally but this just wasn't clicking.
It was a really old build so that really could have been it. I do feel like it being in the game was good, it just felt off. I wasn't able to get it consistently how the game wanted it so I felt like it was a mechanic I really wasn't able to use.
Perhaps I needed more practice or like I said perhaps it's already been fixed and I just don't know it yet but in the tutorial area it was rough to get it consistently and smoothly how the game presented it.
Do you mean wall-jumping?
Yes, Wall Jumping, that. Sorry its been awhile since I played the demo. It just felt like I wasn't connecting and moving upwards like the tutorial was presenting me to do. Again it's been awhile but that was the only turn off I had when playing which is why I still wishlisted because I wanted to play more.
EDIT: I checked when Alpha Beta Gamer posted about it. It was the alpha they posted back in 2022.
Type this in console: "map map_aitest"
then jump around for a bit. You'll get the hang of it. It's a bit tricky. Think of it like it's movement tech. You need to learn it then it feels natural.
Thank you! appreciate it! <3
Just so to lock out left and right movement when actually wanting to go straight up a specific part of a new plane but one which you jump at a angle.
Is it possible to hang on a ceiling or beam later?
Is there a "lock on" mechanic for meele?
I feel like I am drifting between enemies with a lot of my kicks and punches lost in thin air because my main body will move/turn/strafe twice as fast as these actually execute/extend.
It would make it more fun. Me thinks.
Kind regards.
Either press crouch when near a ledge or turn on EZ Jump and it'll do it automatically.
Yes, there's a small amount of lockon when you hit enemies.
