gmfss slow??
Hi,
I have 7800x3d and 4090 but should it really take hours to interpolate a 1440x1920 1:30mins video? Im using spatiotemporal resampling(Anime) ,optical flow at 2, and my vfi model is pg_104.

oh forgot to mention, trying to interpolate from 29.97fps to 240 or even 120.
Also how fast are the upscalers if i upgrade to pro version? I was thinking maybe I downscale for interpolation then upscale it back up..

if you uses optical flow scale at 2, it equals interpolating GMFSS at a 4k scale, which is not affordable for most GPUs. Please decrease that value and try again.

As for the upscalers, there are no known speed comparison without specific settings and input. You can buy the software and have a try. Should you find the software not desirable, you can refund within 24 hours. Basically a little slower than other software using the same algorithms because SVFI is applying some other techniques to ensure the quality and do the encoding. And this is a whole another thing when it comes to using TensorRT acceleration.
