Probably the same as the Switch version, which are small transactions for cards you can trade in to get characters you want to play as immediately,[cdn.discordapp.com] rather than having to wait for the RNG roulette of Monocoin machines to give them to you.

They had to do it, right?
Hope the game gonna be F2P or dirt cheap then.
Why? You don't have to use the in-game purchases.
They're just there to skip playing if you desire it, you can get everything in game through playing it, otherwise.

Right, you can get everything in game through playing it in Diablo Immoral too.

Then all you need is self-control to not spend IRL money.

This is based on the Ultimate Talent Development Plan/Monokuma Dungeon from Danganronpa V3, so you just play the game and use the currency you collect from battles to roll for random characters.

This game doesn't have dupes at least. The MTX are just unnesercary tbqh, especially when the grind is a bit part of the point. For better or worse.
But just playing and grinding as the game was built, you'll get all the cards eventually.
