Barely getting 35 fps with 1080Ti, doesn't matter what settings I choose. Friend with 3090 gets 50 fps. What are you getting?

Resolution ?> Settings ?

Anyway, the game runs surprisingly well for a UE4.

intel 13600K
32RAM 6000MHZ
M2 2TB
RTX 4090
My settings Epic 5160x2160 res (no upscaling, not included in the game.)

Around 80/90 fps

No traversal stutter, and no shader compilation problems

I tried both lowest and highest with only 10fps difference at most. Running on high now at 1080p. Friend I think is on epic and probably 1440p, def not higher.

Also, this is UE5 from what I googled up, in which case it runs as well as most UE5 games lately. :D

Interesting, I am running an i7-6700k with a 1070 (not TI) and my potato runs at a smooth 60~70 FPS on medium settings (their recommended config) for 1920 x 1080 the game isn't even installed to an SSD just a high spin HD.

Perhaps update your drivers?

i mean this game is an alpha and it has very detailed visuals and effects, how would they start optimizing for hundreds of different specs this early in development?

I got some more FPS, approaching 50 by turning on HAGS in windows, which offloads some CPU work to your GPU, and wanted to say the game is CPU intensive, as my GPU isn't fully utilized, but your CPU looks weaker than my Ryzen 7 1800x, so I'm still lost. :D

My driver was up to date, I downgraded it now though with not much difference. Think just HAGS made the difference.

Its closed beta, and its just pattern recognition. I have bad experience with almost every UE5 game as of late, and its the same across all games, beta or not, with both older and newer hardware having problems with performance, so my first thought is always, oh another one...
