So disapointed its a battle royal/ extraction game.

Could have easily done a mech game with a tech tree. Do battle like world of warships or tanks. instead we got a battle royal mode.
Failed opportunity from mech lovers.

It's wargaming, P2W is incoming without any ounce of doubt, I'd bet my life savings, body parts and vital organs and come out on top every time I see people wondering is the historically greedy F2P game publisher is going to add P2W to their new game.

I try to give publishers a break sometimes, but then I remember my long term experiences with them and get really annoyed with the idea that I even did that. A good example is the few times they removed vehicles from veteran accounts on WoT(I was a lucky victim of that, and it was never the really niche lower rank ones, it was always the decent or better high rank ones that would just disappear), spam micro-transactions that break any sense of balance, and ignore player input that doesn't make their profit rise.

It's like they keep making games in which HP are involved, but make it possible to get oneshot, but usually only by paid vehicles or 1-2 tech tree meme vehicles. Then after people complain they say, look at this museum we sponsored, or look at this charity we support, did you know we donate to veterans and give their accounts bonuses if they play our game?

Truly disappointing, did a couple matches as the Bear shotgunner mech and the gameplay is all there. That class is everything I hoped it would be. But man is the one game mode they have just the exact opposite of the right path. Even a generic TDM would be better, but maybe a MOBA type thing would work...?

I dunno. I've never been a BR fan and I've never played Apex so the idea of a duo team weirds me out. I didn't like having this other random guy I either have to follow as they go off on their own, or they follow me like a lost puppy. Just give me 16v16 and let me maul people with giant mecha bear claws.

Installed, logged in, did the tutorial, started a match of skirmish, saw that it was a BR/ES and instantly uninstalled. Man, what a waste of great mech designs. I was really hoping for it to be a spiritual successor to the Zoids VS series...

I tried the game, did only 1 match, then uninstalled. Not because it's "bad", but because i have to wait more than 5 minutes to find a match to play against players and not bots.

If i can't find a match because nobody's playing the game even on a beta, then you know the game don't have a future. It's unfortunate because i was interested to get on a BR but with mecha.

It's weird because I feel like the Battle Royale and account progression don't jell together at all. With extraction games usually if you are underequipped due to a newer account you just sneak around and try to get out. Sneaking here isn't really as much of a option it seems.

I have to grind bot matches with every character I want to play otherwise I risk just going into a match where I die to enemies with higher levels than me. The point of Battle Royale is you gather strength via exploring the map and gathering.

Since it's teams of 2 I'd also need to work really well with someone to judge situations... and everyone is just gonna fight when they see enemies regardless of if we can take them or not.
