With 500 ping i am wondering where the server is located, and wonderin when/if other servers will be set up

Just like 99% of non AAA games it has no oce servers

no OCE servers sucks. every game the network connection bar is red, i can never melee as the ping sucks and i constantly warp around the map randomly due to lag. I can see friendlies doing this as well. I'd ask the game team to take a look at their connections and determine if its something worth implementing, as playing from aus sucks and will forever be this way until something is done.

Well i'm in aus so shouldn't i be matched in asia or NA servers where i have much better ping? checking the technical support from the website it seems i've been put into the EU server

cuz building a whole server for like 12 australians is usually not seen as a good idea

EU is like the worst possible region for aussies for some reason. It has to wrap around the world strangely. I'm in the US but I have Aussie friends.
