Crashing in the first minute of a game
So I really like the game, participated in both betas, but only now with the early access version do I have this issue where I load into a game and take 5 steps, my GPU usage spikes from 65% to 100% and the game crashes because of a driver Timeout.

Here is the config of my PC and during both betas it ran smooth without a single crash.

CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
Motherboard - ASRock X370 Gaming K4 updated to BIOS patch 10.3
RAM - 32GB
Savelocation - Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB
GPU - AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX (24GB)

So any ideas why this is happening now?

Hey, I'm really sorry to hear that. Are your GPU drivers up to date? o.o
Please open a ticket with our Customer Support and explain your situation here: https://wargaming.net/support/en/products/steel/help/
The solution for me was that i start the game in safe mode, no idea, why that helps, but I just completed 2 games because of this.

So I would say that the topic is closed for me.

Thank you for the link to the support website.
Sorry to reopen the issue, but now the issues happen even when I play the game in the safe mode.
my game is crashing with AMD hardware, when i walk into water. Can reproduce it.
amd 7900xt here. also crashing
also 7900xt and same crash reason

AMD cards crash when antialiasing is set to DLSS or TRX (or something like that). Use other options.
7900xtx game crashes half way through training session. 7800x3d cpu 32gb ram 200 fps

I used every option available in the graphic settings.
I even tried to turn anti aliasing off and set all graphic settings to the lowest setting possible and I still crashed after loading into the game and taking a few steps.

I just found that the Anti-Aliasing and Super Resolution option default is set to Nvidia DLSS, just switch it to anything else other than that if your using AMD.

--->IT GOES BACK TO NVIDIA DLSS AFTER YOU CLOSE THE GAME<---

This solved the problem for me, just open the game and switch to other than dlss

yes, it seems that the NVIDIA DLSS setting is causing the problem to amd cards. Be aware any time you start the game its going to NVIDIA DLSS setting!!
