Devs should always predict bad launches and prevent them becuase they will have bad reviews to deter many new players.
LOL, buy more servers! now
Get an extra server or two with cap above 100 000. Everyone wants to see and feel it. You shoud have been prepared for it.
At least i played the beta, the game is cool. But like people said, i don't understand why on a multiplayer game, there is ALWAYS server issues. That's boring.
TLDR;
1 Miscalculation of how much server power they needed
2 Miscalculation of how many people would be trying to play
3 (my favorite) Correct calculation of server power based on average NORMAL load. So peaks will have wait times etc. Why pay for a bunch of extra servers you only use on launch day since normally, online multiplayer populations fall off after that. Especially if they are physical servers.
Our servers have sufficient capacity but we discovered a bug with how the login requests are being addressed which caused the issue.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will have a great time!
