Most people want to play single player games, why pump out more pvp/multiplayer stuff in an oversaturated marked? even in the mecha pvp there are a s**tload of other games

Because most people want PVP/Multiplayer. because most people dont have social anxiety and like to play with other humans. You are not Most.

I would prefer it if the game were a single-player experience with a campaign that could optionally be played in co-op. The current modes could be included as a multiplayer bonus. This way, there’s something for everyone.

I also prefer single player and co-op modes. PvP that can stop or reverse your progression is too much of a chore, especially after working all day.

+1 for singleplayer, multiplayer/pvp is generic af and doomed to fail eventually, not to mention you lose EVERYTHING when servers go offline

I doubt most people want pvp. If so many online games would have stayed online but nope a lot of them die out eventually.

The problem with PvP games is when the players move on to the next big thing the game is done. Don’t invest too much money into whatever micro transactions they have planned.

Online-only games are disposable and often generic. It only makes sense if the sole goal is profit(if any profit is even made), not passion developing. When devs make something great, and singleplayer/playable offline, it becomes immortal.

You only need to look at the vast history of online-only games to see what I mean.

+1 is single player. To the developers. Please look at the zombie mode in COD or the game helldivers. You can make a single player out of repetitive elements of a multiplayer game. To all those who write that someone doesn't like people and therefore doesn't play multiplayer games. That's not the point o single player- a lot of people want to have a specific challenge to overcome and that's the goal. In a multiplayer game, sometimes you'll meet a person who can't play and sometimes a master. Additionally, if I only have 1 hour a day to play, it's hard to reach the level of teenagers who spend 4 hours playing. Single player content is a specific challenge and specific progress if you manage to pass this challenge
