EA charges $70+ for Madden and NCAA every year each ($140+ annually) and also has monetization. I doubt you will feel the need to spend $140+ every year on whatever monetization is in the game.
Development Director this morning said that they plan on having coach mode implemented by the time it releases to console. (and ya, I am with ya, I NEED coach mode too!)
