Green Blue Purple means you can encounter any of those types of ships. Whereas only seeing the Purple one means all of the ships encounters will be in that category.
Seems to be missing a tutorial explaining what this means, and there's no hover text or whatnot that would explain it to you.
If anybody knows for certain, please chime in.
From experience I'm pretty sure that each emblem color represents the factions that you'll face during the raid (and the color of the circle of the in-raid map will also tell you who that particular ship belongs to)
Below is a list of colors and the faction they represent (spoiler-marked in case innocents scroll through here):
Blue = Company, Green = Glass Traders, Purple = Sea Monster Hunters
This indicates what factions will show up in that raid. Glass traders (Green), Company (Blue), Monster Hunters (Purple).
The only reason i know its 3 different factions is because the voice lines is different depending on the faction when selecting their ship.
Often they will also say glass trader, company ship, or monster hunter in the voice lines.
Or at least a higher percentage? My "guess":
- Monster Hunters: Higher chance for cannon?
- Company: Higher chance for ship module?
- Glass trader: Higher chance for character item?
Yes I am aware of the preview of rewards, but that only gives access to your next choice. I want to plan out my course especially in a long raid.
