Issue with the FN FAL tactical
The FN FAL tactical is missing its the option to select muzzle attachments. It can mount a suppressor and still has the attachment script for it (which is correct) but the option in the gun customization for muzzle attachments is missing.

I noticed this bug when I went to make a new custom variant of it and noticed the option was missing.

was this change intentional? Is this a bug like I'm thinking it is? Would you like me to post screenshots?

No, it happened due to internal changes to support modding.
Already fixed internally, along with a number of other mistakes caused by the change.
e.g. MK46 suppressor being rotated 90 degrees.
