We're getting the first campaign mission next update, taking place on the Depot map. With basic team AI supported for the mission.
Plenty of early access games have a campaign mode even if its not a complete campaign.
How does wanting a partially complete product in early access entitlement?
Even tiny developers like Black One Blood Brothers has way more content and I think some obscure guy making it by himself.
bobb is awful btw. ruined by terrible AI and some questionable level design.
The original Ghost Recon had 15 maps, and that's a fully developed game. Ground Branch obviously is not. Also maps and graphics in general are a lot more detailed now, and as such probably require a lot more work.
I can't think of any early access first-person shooter that lets you play the campaign. Partially complete is an oxymoron. Black One Blood Brothers is a terrible game, stitched together from marketplace assets.
The missions on Ground Branch is very barebone too and is as responsive as Blood Brothers. Not a terrible game but just barebone of content. Reminds me of VR games like Split Second and Tactical Assault. Fun games but not very in depth. Was hoping more from watching it on early access for years. Was debating between this or Ready or Not but since Ground Branch had a great price i pulled the trigger on this one.
As many people are pointing out this game is still in development, so more maps are coming but the different mission types (intel, hostage rescue, terrorist hunt, etc) force you to approach each map in different ways. Additionally, it is stated that a single player campaign is coming to the full release. If you really do find the maps boring a lot of the aforementioned servers have modded maps, firearms, attachments, AI, and more that make game play more interesting.
Hopefully this was informative and didn't come off as pretentious, just trying to paint a clear picture for you. Hope you keep it and enjoy the game as much as I do :D
Can't I just find BOBB a bad game? What's spoiled about my opinion exactly? I haven't paid for it and I don't make any demands or complaints about it. It's a budget game made by 1 guy. You get what you pay for. If you think it's a good game that's fine of course, but we have a very different definition of what makes a good game then.
Ghost Recon had 15 missions, definitely not 23. Maybe you are including one of the expansions? Here's a list of all of the missions:

I agree that Ground Branch still feels quite barebones, but that's just something that can happen in an early access game. The next update should improve things a bit with a first pass on objective-based missions.
But its cool ill keep it for now. yall convinced me.
