Not trolling, I wasn't following this title closely. Is it one of those never-gonna-release games and I should just take it of my wishlist?
Edit. I can see the Devs are active and updating regularly, or so it seems
In the discord there was talk about going to 1.0 (with further planned content in the road map to be released) in 2025. I imagine that it would be late 2025.
The next big update, 1035, was supposed to be initially released to the test side in 2024 which did not occur.
I would be very surprised in they went to 1.0 in 2025 based on the information available.
Every major update in the last few years has taken 12 months, with v1035 being the exception, taking longer as it was not released during December.
By that maths and assuming v1035 is released soon, it'll at least be 2027 at the earliest before we see v1.0 of Ground Branch. That of course assumes its all smooth sailing, which is is also probably optimistic.
I myself am at a point where I'll believe it when I see it.
I find this is somewhat realistic take...
if you want to be really (and I mean really) optimistic I would say 2026...
that if they don´t do a RoN stunt and decide to randomly declare one of the next updates 1.0 - full game - when in reality it still far away from it lol
The realist in me says it's likely a 2027 release though as development is fairly slow going
bought this in 2020 nothing really happened since then
:))
yeah personally I don´t even care when/if this will get a full release
friendly AI is not that important for me, in fact I hope you can deactivate it once it gets released.
it´s a neat idea but reality is that they tend to get in the way and be annoying more than anything else, unless extremely well programmed/implemented ofc.
a story campaign is also something I don´t really need, nice if it´s there but I can do without.
game just needs some more polishing and better AI.
and maybe a couple more variations for lone wolf missions and a couple more maps and weather conditions like cloudy/rainy, etc.
once those things are achieved it will be one of the very best realistic immersive tactical shooter out there no doubt.
Just want the AI more polished and more tactical. Like able to nade rude for cover try and flank etc. Of course I also want weather and more mission variations as they are working on now.
Don't mind Cypher he always must interject.
