Worth a Buy?
I'm looking for Some PVE Tac shooters similar to Arma 3, but not as complex as Arma 3, would this game be one of those and worth looking into?

AI still needs a lot of work as they like to get tangled up in bathrooms or stairs from time to time but the next update should help a bit.

There are a few large maps which can be played at any time/weather you like so it isnt as repetitive.

Just remember that it is still early access and not bug free.
how does support for the game look?
10+ years of development without an end in sight. Be wary of all the people recommending that you purchase this game on the forum; They are heavily biased.

I bought it gave it a try for a hour, found problems with it, and decided to refund it, Ill come back in a year or 2

True, it's always like that - if you like a game, you will tell people to buy it, if they like the same stuff.

In that regard: If you like realistic gunplay and have some patience and time to wait for a finished product, this one has some traits you won't find in other games. Namely (grain of salt like CAR said, subjective) the most realistic gunplay on the market, some bigger maps with a certain style I don't know from anywhere else (realistic, fortunately unbalanced) and playable AI.

It's rough on the edges for sure. Devs work on AI atm and it's needed.
But this game is smth that slowly and steadily melts into smth nice, an oldschool shooter with a very mature core, smth you won't find on the market anywhere else.

But yes, development is slow and this is by no means a finished product.

If you mainly compare it to Arma, I would say it's not bad. I personally love it for it's (basic) sandbox format: Equip, setup mission parameters, jump into map, fight AI. It's not really as customizable as Arma (yet), there's not many maps, but if you like the immersion from Arma, you will find it even better in this game, but on a much more lightweight level.

That's how you do it.
Always nice to see mature people still exist.

Question: How did you like the gunplay, compared to Arma?

It felt a lot like arma, but like friendlier? more cod-like with a bit more realism to it, as in i didn't notice ballistics but it did drop people in 1-4 shots which i liked, overall gunplay was fun, the fact the ai didnt react much at range is what killed it for me, if they fix that, and more stuff, and make it so the ai isnt john which at CQB ill come back

Thanks for giving it a try and giving honest and mature feedback.

Hopefully the game is where you would like it in the near future.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it! As I found out from a user here today, the game has been around for 6 years! And it has still been in Early Access status for 6 years. For the fact that it has already existed for 6 years, I find it more than weak that there are 1. (still) no AI team members. In other words, you can only play it in Lonely Wolf mode and in multiplayer mode with other players via the internet. The AI is still buggy. For being on the market for 6 years, I think it's really weak. Other users who have just bought it, like me, have also reported that they have enormous problems. The AI opponents seem to have "superpowers". Despite the fact that in many situations the enemies can't even have seen you yet, they shoot at you and hit you, even though you're hiding in the forest, for example, surrounded by trees, bushes and shrubs. The missions at night are okay, where you really can't be recognized so quickly. Alternatively, you can shoot out any street lamps or other outdoor lighting.

GB has potential. But the way it is at the moment, with the AI of the enemies, who can apparently see 300 meters across a forest and immediately spot a camouflaged sniper, even though he (you) is equipped with a camouflage uniform. I also have to correct my first review. I really can't recommend the game at the moment.

Well for every person who doesn't like or recommend the game and leaves. More are actually buying it enjoying and praising the game as it currently is.

If it's not for you then that's cool. Move on and find something else fun to play. Life is to short.

All we ask is people give it an honest try and decide if what is there will give them enough value for their money.
