It is a long time since I played the OG Rainbow Six games, so I am not that familiar with the sounds anymore and no idea where they got their samples back then. I mean, these games were top notch for the time, but I would guess weapon sound design in games came a long way since then and I wouldn't necessarily expect Ground Branch to sound close to those games.
But again, would be pretty interesting to hear from the devs.
YEeah you're probably right. But I like how the old R6 sound of a mp5sd.
Im mostly refering to the difference in sound when you shoot a suppressed mp5 in GB and the old R6 but I saw a video on youtube where they compared subsonic to supersonic in an mp5 and there was no noticable difference in sound what so ever. But what I noticed was how accurate the sound to the old R6 mp5 suppressed is to reallife and I miss it in GB. I think it's to much of a (reverb) is it called(?) in GB when shooting the mp5sd. R6 MP5SD sounds more realistic in my opinion.
