Dying too quickly, one shot death
This happens on both the player and AI where death is a bit too easy. I'm wearing the most I can for protection, and yet every time I hear a shot, I'm dead. Then again, when I shoot a bad guy AI, he too just drops. These aren't SNIPER shots either. Doesn't seem realistic at all. I'm not looking for arcade-level health, but human bodies are fairly resilient (especially with plate carriers) and I'd like to see more damage before outright insta death. That's no fun. This IS still a game after all. Thanks for listening.

Body armor isn't yet modeled as providing any protection for anybody yet -- not players, not bots. For now, all a plate carrier does is provide a place to attach your gear pouches. Ditto for helmets.

https://trello.com/c/X9adqJkT/289-armor-system
is currently listed as one of the targets for the next major update, 1034.

https://trello.com/c/XD7NtkCU/206-first-pass-health-system
is listed as one of the targets after that, maybe 1035-1036 (colum headings haven't all been updated properly after 1033, I think; normally one column for next major, one column for two/three major updates ahead).

Only thing I wish you could turn down is the friendly fire damage multiplier. I get killed more by FF than enemies most pubs.

That’s the most annoying stuff for me as a casual solo player, from the first time i played the game, end 2020 or early 2021 not sure.

I’m not a military at all, i only have some rescue training as a "paramedic" (i think it’s EMT in USA ? "Sapeur-Pompier" here...). I "feel" i shoud be able to eat some bullets, if i’m shot in the arm, leg or even torso, unless it’s really big caliber and/or very short range, and even then you can lost your lower leg and have a hole in your shoulder, and not die IRL, so...

However, many times if not all the time, one single hit and i’m down, game over. Same goes for the bandits, i shot them is the legs once or twice from afar, and they die.

It all depends on where you get hit.
Decent center of mass shots from a rifle will tend to be one shot affairs.
Glancing shots, especially to the arms or leg, more then one.

Right now, I'd suggest you to consider all body armor as airsoft replicas. They don't change stats at all I think(?.

Correct.

Rifle GSW, especially to the trunk, tend to greatly reduce willingness and ability to participate in things around you. The only way I would agree with "eating bullets" would be if your character model then collapsed and began screaming for buddy aid and bleeding everywhere while you attempted to perform a quick time event to aid yourself. I saw a dude lose a major portion of his forearm in minecraft from a 5.56mm once, he was not particularly motivated to continue his path on the ♥♥♥♥ around/find out chart.

Absent correctly modeled internal anatomy to enforce shot placement (which I believe is coming soon), having everyone be a one or two hit stop is fairly reasonable from a game perspective.

TBH even a arm or leg shot can be fatal, although it won't be immediately fatal.

I call it pattern of 3. After either single shot (SVD) or burst shot (AK 47), AI will kill you at 3rd shot. The enemy AI is kinda basic. From the other topic, next 1034 will have better enemy AI so we can expect something different (at least the pattern hit).
I hope dev team can fix the armor too. There's no point using heavy plate that takes 5 kg more without any extra protection.
