(2023) female characters when?

i'm looking into this game and seriously debating on purchasing it and following along through the development. based on everything that i've seen so far it seems like a hit and like a great game. i own alot of tactical shooters/milsims but the one thing ive been missing in all of them is a female character. looking into this game it has everything i'd like out of a game and i've seen several post about a "future" female model but these posts are already years old and claimed that it was "coming soon." does anyone have any information as to when this will actually come to fruition?

We plan to add them in 1034... the next major build after the one that is being publicly tested now. We may not have 100% parity for all outfits right away, but it will be most things. Then we will add the rest after that.

okay well thank you very much for the reply. i will be purchasing the game, looking forward to the developments and especially the lady builds lol. as a military woman i am very excited to see a game working on giving us the option to play as ourselves.

The preview pics of the female faces being added look terrible. When you point it out, everyone is like, "THEY'RE NOT MEANT TO BE SUPER MODELS" as if the women's faces are ANYWHERE NEAR SLIGHTLY BELOW AVERAGE. It's bad... I don't think women will want to play as women in this game with how hideous they decided to make them.

There were preview images with the faces somewhere but now I can't find them..

As a woman, I don't think they are hideous at all. They have normal faces that you'd expect a regular person to have. And even if they were ugly I don't really care? I just want to play a female character in a shooter, not an insta model. I'm really looking forward to play one of these.

Question though; whenever their ugliness comes up, there's always talk about how they don't need to look like models. I never said they need to look like models, I just think they're unrealistically ugly. I don't know why people keep bringing up that comparison.

They also have extremely dirty faces, multiple scars, appear to be in their 30's-40's, and have unkempt hair in atypical styles. Clean them up a little bit, throw on a different hairstyle, and I think they'd fit in with any other woman in games that I can remember. Not like the male faces or haircuts are any more conventionally attractive.
