You don't want the MP7 extra weight of 1.9kg (without ammo) and a size of 63cm on your body. The USP weights (depending on the model) less than the half of it and is a lot smaller with only ~20cm. Also the point as a sniper is to NOT get caught in a CQB fight.
I'm shooting a HK USP with a Roni carabine conversion kit and that case alone adds some good amount of weight. I wouldn't want to go into battle with that thing and a precision rifle.
All games fail to give a proper sense of weight and seize of stuff you have to carry around. It quickly gets cumbersome in real life.
