I know it's an unpopular gun to most but I absolutely adore the XM8 "Fishgun"[upload.wikimedia.org]

It was my go-to weapon in the older Ghost Recon games. I know it would be difficult getting their hands on an XM8 for modelling in-game since they are relatively rare now so I'm not holding my breath at all, but it would be a very nice Christmas gift if it ever makes its way into Ground Branch :P

In Rogue Spear, i aced a round hiding on 747 with Blue Smurf Wepons, The Sl-8 was a great DMR, and i hid behind the tyres of the jet, and picked them off 1 by 1 :P

XM8 is currently in service in Malaysia. Probably would not be as hard as you think to find a model though overall it's a pretty boring weapon. Surprised nobody ever mentions the HK33/HK53 considering it's the go to operator weapon that everyone seemed to have forgotten.

The MP5 was also replaced by the MP7 and P90 in real life, but It's just such a good gun some units still use it. I don't see why we can't have a HK33 or PSG-1.

HK33 is basically a G3 in 5.56 and often mistaken for a G3. Ridiculously popular weapon and used by virtually everyone. I remember some games even model the HK33 in and call it a G3.
HK53 is around the same size as an MP5 and the most popular version of the gun. Probably even more popular than MP5 actually but cause it looks like an MP5 it is often mistaken for an MP5. Quite literally if you were to glance at the gun and didn't bother to look at the magazine you'd think it was an MP5.

Not really. The HK33 is considered far superior POS that is the G36 and will likely survive that gun a lot longer. It's still in service in a lot of nations and only very recently has it started to get replaced and when I mean recently, only started in the last 2 years. Typically ARX, SCAR, and Bren are often what replaces it. Don't think I've heard really of an AR-15 derived platform replacing the gun directly or at least intentionally.
HK53 meanwhile there's not really a valid replacement for it since it's essentially a PDW with far more punch than your average PDW while being just as compact and easy to conceal. Only guns I have known to replace it were C8s and even then not completely fully.

I still like the Sig Commando, Long-Barrel Attachment can convert the 552 Commando to a 550 iin a minute, it was pretty interesting in a Jason Bourne Movie, an Asset used a supressed 552 with surgical precision from about 280m, very nice "all-round" AR.

I like this one. I remember first seeing it is CS 1.6 and really liking how it looked.
