Blurry textures
I have a GTX 760 with 2 GB VRAM, is there anything I can do to mitigate the blurry textures that come and go? Is it an optimzation issue? I don't have this issue with Squad.

Thanks for your reply but that isn't what I'm talking about.

Similar card, but with 4GB VRAM.

Quick question - is resolution scaling at 100%?
Seems that the auto-detect has set this <100% for a lot of people, which will cause stuff to be blurrier then it should be.

If it is 100%, disregard.

Are you running from an SSD or HDD?
I know that the HDD affects load times.
Wondering if would affect the streaming too...

Hmm...

It is most likely streaming in lower res textures because it can't fit everything into memory at full size. 2GB isn't that much for modern games. What resolution are you playing in, because that effects ram usage as well.

The setting you want to lower though is Texture Quality. That will universally lower the resolution the textures are loaded into memory at and should hopefully lessen the work it has to do to stream things in and out.

1920x1080 and like I said I don't have this issue with Squad which is on a much larger scale. I have Texture Quality set to medium. I plan on getting a 1060 with 6 GB VRAM one of these days.

Scale doesn't really matter in this context. What matters is what is begin loaded to the card and when. In fact, Squad having much larger maps may actually help you because the engine can better stream things that are much farther away out of memory, without to much worry of when it will be needed.

There may some config settings we can do to help with streaming as well so I'll look into that.

Yeah, please don't think that I am saying that you should cater to such an old card. It's just the minimum required card only has 1 GB VRAM I think.
