How can i host a game for me and my friends?

Right now, the only way to host a game is to use a Dedicated Server that you can get for free here:
www.groundbranch.com/store

It cannot be run from the same machine you are playing the game on though. We had to remove local listenserver hosting as it wasn't working, but that will be back in for the Early Access release.

So the developers link is broken. And from the store page I see no details for server hosting. @JognJ or anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Also any `nix binaries for the server?

There are no Linux binaries available at this time :(

Did the included batch file not work for you?

If not, you might have more luck getting the Ground Branch Dedicated Server directly using SteamCMD.

The app id is 476400.

Command should end up something like this:

SteamCmd +login anonymous +force_install_dir ./<SomeDirectory> +app_update 476400 +exit

The BFS forums were taken down a few weeks ago (temporary or not). It's best to follow the guides lt_delay posted or visit the Discord. There is a channel for server-support there.

With any luck we will see listen servers soon. They are currently being tested.

Nice look forward to it... I (Think) that I have everything working correctly and figuring out most of it, and the Discord Support really helped... We have quite a few players on our server and doing well with it...
