GROUND BRANCH

GROUND BRANCH

A tip from Ghost Recon Breakpoint
In Ghost Recon Breakpoint, if you have a magnifying scope and you are scoped in, the scope itself only occupy a tiny area of the screen, but the area outside the scope is magnified to the same magnification as what's in the scope.

This make it much easier to use the scope to acquire targets.

Compared with the current implementation in Ground Branch, the implementation in Ghost Recon Breakpoint is better and should be imitated. The way things are now, if we are scoped in, and we move the scope, we don't even know what will come into the scope. We are forced to use an x1 scope on an offset rail to aim, then switch to the magnifying scope. It's too slow and risky.

Devs, please implement the scope method in Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

That doesn't sound realistic. Maybe that's ok for a silly laid back shooter like Breakpoint but doesn't sound right for Ground Branch.

What you could do depending on your mouse is equip the accupower 1-8x optic

From here map the variable zoom to the mouse wheel and re map the ready stances to the side buttons on your mouse if you have them. This way you can scroll between 1x all the way to 8x giving you a snooth transition

1) they do that for performance's sake
2) that's not at all what this game is going for
3) I hate that
4) it's really weird that you chose Breakpoint as an example; that exists in almost every FPS
5) this game has free-aim off by default; that makes it incredibly easy to know exactly where you're going to zoom; you can no-scope or quick-scope people easily (learn to aim)
6) they already said that they're not going to do this, and that's a good thing

The current model of only having magnification inside of your optic housing is realistic, so that's why it's designed that way.

guys, it's an obvious troll
No, I am not a troll. I am a fan of realistic shooters. I own Insurgency Sandstorm, Ground Branch, Rainbow Six Siege and Day of Infamy (WWII mod of Insurgency).

I just had trouble aiming with the current scope (ACOG), so that I have usually been using x1 scopes, such as Micro. I am an average player, not very skilled, but I sure do enjoy the realism.

Using a laser can sometimes be helpful to give a better idea where your weapon is pointing at when not using a scope. It may be worth a try.

PIP (Picture in Picture) scopes are the most realistic you can get for today. I hate the fact, that for example the arma 3 doesn't have that (there is a mod) having single render scope like you want are limiting your peripheral vision. All those REALISTIC shooters use them: Rising Storm 2, insurgency and insurgency sandstorm (disabled by default), tarkov.... GROUND BRANCH. What you asking dev's is to return to the stone age again :D
Sorry for my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ english.

Some games either have it an option to turn or or off and some don't mainly due performance reasons. It tends to use a lot of "resources" and can impact fps

My friend,

Siege, Sandstorm, Breakpoint and Day of Infamy, are not realistic by any stretch.
