Unable to save empire & text

Sup.
So, since last night (I did sleep in between) I've been trying to make myself an empire for a multiplayer game I want to have with my girlfriend. However, whenever I try to save the empire, the game gives me an error.

Unable to save empire
"d:\steam\steamapps\common\spaceempiresv\se5\saveempires"

With proper capitalization, the path would look like this:
"D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\SpaceEmpiresV\SE5\SaveEmpires"

Is this proper? Or did I get the capitalization wrong? It's important to note that the game does not crash when I try to save an empire immediately after creating it; this error is in-game. Saving the description text, however, does crash with a similar error, though it is obviously out of game.

It's trying to save the text file in the SaveEmpires folder. I'm not sure why these two things cause a problem. Games save fine, setups save fine, as far as I know maps save fine. My folders are the following:

Data
Docs
Empires
Fonts
GameSetups
GameTypes
History
Maps
Music
Pictures
SaveEmpires
Savegame
Scenarios
Sounds
Temp
Utilities

I noted that when Steam downloads this game, it forgets several of these folders and the game doesn't create them. I love this game but since I got it on Steam it's been trouble from day [insert number of days after I got SE5 on Steam when I installed Windows 7].

EDIT: Fixed it! It's not "SaveEmpires"... It's "SavedEmpires" with a "d" in there. Moral of the story is, make sure you name your folders properly. ^_^
